Magic Airlines in production

A group trip always falls apart in the same place: the plan is made in the chat and nobody can find it a week later, everyone keeps their tickets in their own inbox, and the expenses get added up on paper after everyone is home. Magic Airlines does not solve that with another spreadsheet, but by holding everything together in one app that everybody has.

Planning. A trip has a destination, dates and its own cover photo. The itinerary is built day by day — time, place, category — and there are more than thirty-five categories, from a restaurant with a reservation through accommodation to a car journey. You do not have to retype bookings: paste the confirmation e-mail or pick a PDF and Apple Intelligence creates the flight, hotel or train on the device itself. The group can vote on itinerary items.

Together. A trip is shared with a code; whoever joins sees the same thing and changes reach everyone. That includes a chat with mentions, voice messages and organiser announcements, a shared packing list along the lines of "who brings what", and carpools for car journeys. Documents, photos and videos are in one place, while personal documents are seen only by the person they belong to.

Tickets and flights. Tickets, boarding passes and documents are at hand even without a signal. From an ordinary ticket the app can produce a pass for Apple Wallet. The boarding pass runs with a countdown and the flight can be tracked live.

Money. Expenses are recorded as you go and the app turns them into a settlement: who paid how much, who owes what to whom, and how to square it with as few transfers as possible. The settlement can be exported as a PDF. Several currencies are supported.

On the way and afterwards. A reminder thirty minutes before every itinerary item, widgets and Live Activities on the home and lock screen, Siri for the question "what is on today", a world map that colours in the countries you have visited and keeps a wishlist, and photos that match themselves to itinerary items by place and time.

Privacy. Sign in with Apple or by e-mail, optionally protected with Face ID. The app does not track user behaviour and contains no advertising or third-party analytics; the account and all data can be deleted in the app at any time, and for Sign in with Apple the Apple token is revoked as well.

Devices. The app is for the iPhone so far and requires iOS 26. The Android version is released on 1 November 2026.

The interface is available in seven languages: German, English, Slovak, Spanish, French, Italian and Czech.
